I just sent the following letter to an online todo list site (sounds like sha schmoo ist) after a very frustrating experience.

Read on:

Dear lord!

I'm the one who just accidentally sent that message with the same title as this one. (It merely read, "Oh, the irony!" - Ed.)

This is my third email attempt regarding this issue. The prior (truncated) message was to read:

>> Second email attempt

Oh, the irony!

This is actually my second email, but the first one closed when I accidentally clicked my cursor outside the Greybox (instead of the Firebug icon) and the window closed without sending my message.

Check your chair

...because if it's not wet after watching this you might need to schedule a doctor's appointment (and change your locks).

I watched this once then, after my panic attack subsided, I watched it again. Perhaps it was a hoax. Even though the video appeared to be from the German version of the PBS program Nova.

The first thing I notice on the second viewing was that the video was from 2005. Aha! Surely, I would have heard more about this in the more than a year since this story broke, right?

Well, after visiting the site for The Open Organisation Of Lockpickers (TOOL), I'm confident that this is not a hoax has joined the ranks of Dirty Little Secret or Elephant In The Room. Unfortunately, I don't have a solution to propose, or much hope for changing the situation.

"Oh no, he's switching to the 9 iron!"

"Unflinching Triumph" provides an illuminating look at a man we never knew and a competitive sport we never knew existed

YouTube - Unflinching Triumph [A documentary centered around contestants in a Staring Competition]

My problem is not with the competition, I'm actually about to go watch the film, but with the quote labeling this a sport.

AshleiTaylor.com

One of the gifts I gave my girlfriend for her birthday was the site AshleiTaylor.com

The benefits and drawbacks of dating a nerd.

One thing I'm proud of is how easy it is to update the site. For example, she can add items to her wishlist without even visting the site, let alone messing with HTML.

I just set up a del.icio.us account for her and anything she tags as "wishlist" will instantly show up on the wishlist on her site.

CSS Reboot

As part of the May 1st CSS Reboot, I gave the site a quick "coat of paint".

There is still some touch up work to be done, but I wanted to get it out.

JFSDesigns.com

I finally came up with a name for my design company. JFS Designs.

Not earth shattering, or incredibly creative, but it works. I liked that it worked as both a noun and a verb.

JFSDesigns.com exists as a place to direct my design clients.

Right now, it's a gallery for some of the designs I offer. Soon I'll put up some screenshots of my clients' sites.

Harry Eklof redesign

I finished a mock up of my HarryEklof.com redesign. Compare it to the original version

It's back

The site is breathing again and will be growing very rapidly.

There will be growings pains. Adolescence is difficult for all parties.
